John, Paul, George, John Lowe and Colin Hanton locally cut a 78rpm record of Buddy Holly's That'll Be The Day with In Spite Of All The Danger on the back. There was only one copy made. John sang lead on both tracks. Estimated recorded date known to be spring or early summer 1958.
